Unlike many wedding and event coordinators who got their start because they just had so much fun planning their own wedding, Heather knew she wanted to be a wedding and event planner when she was in the 10th grade.

In Brevard County, Florida she worked as a bridal consultant in the full service bridal salon. She also coordinated several weddings on the cruise ships at Cape Canaveral. Heather finished out her time in Florida working as a meeting and event planner for United Space Alliance, a contractor to NASA at Kennedy Space Center.

When Heather and her husband moved to Nashville, she went to work for The Key Event Group, a company that does events for associations and corporations that come to Nashville for their conventions and conferences. This gave Heather a new perspective on event planning, as well as an opportunity to learn the Nashville area events industry inside and out. It goes without saying that Heather was planning and coordinating weddings of friends on the side throughout this time.
